My New UFO Book
The Title, the Table, the Redactions
So here’s a bit of news.
I’m currently finishing up a writing project for Zondervan Reflective (HarperCollins) on the subject of Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (or, more commonly: UFOs, Unidentified Flying Objects).
The book is entitled Sightings and Secrets: UFOs, Eyewitness Testimonies, and How Christians Can Make Sense of the Unknown. The writing/research process has been quite the adventure—not least, of course, because of the enigmatic nature of the topic itself and the rather fascinating public narrative that continues to unfold (the UFO subject is not going away any time soon).
I’m not finished yet, but I’ll be sending the manuscript to my editor soon so we can start preparing it for release into the wild…
I’ve dedicated the book to the late Dr. Michael Heiser, who was a highly influential Hebrew Bible scholar with a deep curiosity for strange topics—including the UFO phenomena. In many ways, he helped pave the road for how to discuss the topic in an intelligent way…
